S.H.E is a Taiwanese girl group whose members are Selina Jen, Hebe Tien, and Ella Chen. The name of the group is an alphabetism derived from the first letter of each member's name. Since releasing their first album Girls Dorm (2001), S.H.E has recorded 12 albums with sales totalling over 15 million, and set ticketing records in each of their two concert tours. The group has acted in seven drama series, hosted two variety shows, and contributed 10 songs to six drama soundtracks. S.H.E has endorsed more than 30 companies and products, including Coca-Cola and World of Warcraft. Thanks largely to S.H.E's success, other Taiwanese record labels began forming their own girl groups.
In 2000, Jen, Tien and Chen signed up for a singing contest, and the winner, Jen, was awarded a record contract. Tien and Chen, who were both finalists, joined Jen to form S.H.E. The trio frequently covers songs by other artists, and performs original compositions. The group produces albums under the HIM International Music label. Avex Asia distributed S.H.E's music in Hong Kong, but transferred this role to WOW Music in 2007. EMI Music China is the distributor in Singapore and the People's Republic of China.

Selina Jen’s October wedding may not happen
After an accident left her badly scarred last October, S.H.E. member Selina Jen had to postpone her wedding which was supposed to be held on Apr 1 this year. Later, Selina's fiancé Richard Chang and her father confirmed that the wedding would take place in October.
However, at an event two days ago, Selina's younger sister Kirsten Jen revealed that her sister would not be getting married in October.
"It would still have to depend on her health, but it is not possible [for the wedding to happen] this year," Kirsten admitted.
The rising star let on that Selina is not only busy with her physiotherapy sessions, but is also working hard on training her dog Pinky.
"My sister hopes that Pinky would learn how to carry a basket. She wants it to be her flower girl," Kirsten laughed.
Commenting on her silver screen debut in The Ghost Tales, the actress expressed that her elder sister did not give her any acting tips, adding that "one has to learn through the acting experience".
Kirsten also shared that whenever Selina sees her, she would jokingly call her a "movie star".
Taiwanese pop group S.H.E.'s Ella Chen was believed to have postponed her wedding with her Malaysian boyfriend Alvin Ng to Mar 31 next year, as fellow group member Selina Jen was reportedly marrying her fiancé Richard Chang this year.
Yesterday, the couple was spotted at a restaurant in Taiwan's eastern district. However, they were not alone.
They had with them two other friends, and with this, it seems like the pair's relationship is already no secret amongst their friends.
During their meal, Alvin was seen putting his arm over Ella's shoulder, while the singer rested her head on her beau's broad shoulders from time to time.
After their meal, the couple headed towards their parked car.
The pair was unaware that they were being followed until the flash from the reporters' camera went off.
Ella looked shocked when she saw reporters, while Alvin stepped away from the singer almost immediately.
Alvin, who looked slimmer than before, had reportedly lost weight in preparation for his big day with Ella.
When the paparazzi turned their attention to Alvin, who attempted to leave, he shyly thanked the reporter who praised him for losing weight.
Ella, who was standing at the other end, pleaded for the reporters to stop attacking her boyfriend.
When probed about their wedding, Ella laughed, "Not so soon!"
When asked if she had met Alvin's parents, the singer requested for the paparazzi to move their car instead, clearly indicating she did not wish to comment any further.
In response to Alvin's weight loss, Ella's recording company HIM International claimed that he had always been thin, and if he really did lose any weight, it must be due to the hot summer weather.
